Cold radiator - cold feed and outlet

Yesterday radiator fine. Husband turned it off for a few hours and now it won't turn back on. Feed is cold, as is out pipe.
Done all the usual things: bled rad - clear water comes out, no air in; turned all rads off except this one and still nothing; turned pump up, no joy, hot water off and just boiler on, no joy and thermostat up to 30 to ensure it stayed on.
Have you any suggestions? Or does it look like we've done everything?
If it was a problem with TRV, wouldn't the feed be hot?
Any suggestions and we'd be very grateful.

remove the head and check the pin is free.

Fabulous - just done this. Thank you. All ok now.
One question - does this mean that we may need a more permanent solution some time?

New valve perhaps, or adjust the valve during the year, pin will stick because its stuck in the same place throughout the summer.

A drop of wd40 will help.
