cold radiator

Hi

I have just connected up a new radiator in a new extension. Water is flowing as radiator was empty but now getting water from bleed screw. However both pipes and radiator are cold. Any ideas? I thought if the water was flowing that it must be on the loop and would heat up like the rest?

What type of system?

Are valves open at both ends of rad?
