I know this problem has come up frequently but please bear with me

All radiators warm up apart from the one in the kitchen. Aired radiator (hardly any air) and took the trv off. Pin was a bit stuck, managed to loosen it. To my great disappointment the radiator is still not heating up. Noticed that the lockshield valve fitting is very corroded. Any ideas?
Thanks for any help.

make sure the pin is "up", and if you push it down it comes back up. if still not getting hot try bleeding air out again ,till you get a constant stream of water. if still no good turn all other radiator thermostatic valves off on every radiator except the one you are having problem with.on that one leave the top of the trv off completely ( not attatched )

Thanks for quick reply. I will have a go on Monday and report back.

It worked - radiator heated up!! I don't mind leaving the trv off (caleffi and in very tight corner). I assume the trv was faulty?

Anyway thank you very much.
