cold rediator

i recently replaced a rad wich was at the end of a run.the rad was moved approx 8 feet across the room to a different location. the problem is that it does not get hot unless water is drained out from the valve. it is then hot and remains so until the system stops calling for heat when it goes cold and does not reheat on switching the system back on.

the boiler is a baxi bermuda and the valve in the rad an old style monoblock unit which works properly. piping is 10mm. any suggestions?all other rads are hot!

Make sure both radiator valves are open and shut down most of your radiators and see what happens.
