Cold suspended floor

Hi guys,

I've converted my side garage into a room a 2 years ago and it has a suspended floor which had a very shallow crawl space. Total dept is approx only 300mm. 6 inch joist and ply on top. I did put chicken wire and normal loft insulation but the floor is still freezing cold

I'm thinking of stripping this out and going in with a concrete floor with 100mm insulation.

Any suggestions here?

Put a carpet down.
