cold water storage repositioning

i am having a loft conversion done to my house in the near future and have come across the problem of the cold water storage tank being in the way. I need to move it over to the other side of the loft.The question is, how would i go about doing this and is it quite an easy job.I know i have to drain it etc, but i need some pointers in the right direction.Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

It really is a complex job if you don't know about pipework techniques. If you want to learn about those then buy a book like the Readers Digest DIY manual. Are you doing the loft conversion yourself? If not why don't you get the builders who are doing that to move the cistern for you. At least then they could arrange the pipework so it fits in best with the loft conversion.
