I would check with the manufacturers before doing this. They might use it as an excuse for cancelling the warranty - "unauthorised modification".

boiler is from the dark ages... they always have problems getting spares
so i dont think manufactures warranty is a issue. Also we rent fro HA and have seen other houses that have been, just wanted to check it was safe and what to use.

I was not the artist, just the service engineer. It took me a few seconds to realise this was actually the boiler! Leonardo qould be proud.

Looks tacky to me.

And likely to look dated and tacky when applied to most boilers.

Sorry - almost as bad as wrapping a wheelie bin.
