Good Evening

I have a combi boiler and new central heating system which is less than 2 years old.

The pressure gauge is reading Zero,

using the loop system I cannot get the pressure to rise, if I turn the 2 taps I can hear the initial hiss of water flow but thats it.

I know there is water in the fill pipe because I have disconnected both ends and there is water flow.

The system its self is working as advertised in heating an hot water.

I have left the refill taps open for 15 20 mins with no rise in pressure.

There is nothing from the overflow pipe.

Could it just be low water pressure in the area? if so how can I find out.

Any other ideas???

The plumber who installed the system recently serviced it, but will not now return calls for 3 days.

Thanks in advance

duff pressure gauge. if you fill the system too much you will get water dripping out of the pipe from the prv. it will hopefully shut off again when the pressure is ok.

if the system is working leave it alone till after christmas, then get someone to look at the pressure gauge

so will it help to diagnose the pressure gauge by leaving the tps open and see if water drips from the overflow??

I did suspect the gauge a few weeks ago when it was being 'erratic'

thanks for the prompt reply..

the boiler has 5 year guarantee I assume the gauge is covered?

Rhemeha are sending me a pressure gauge, anyone know any gas fitters in Swindon who will fit it without charging an arm and a leg?
