Hi guys

got a aquaplus valliant combi boiler and need to stick some isolating valves on both hot and cold tap feeds in kitchen (boiler is on middle floor).

which valve can I isolate the boiler with so that there is minimal hot water loss from the system whilst I do the isolating valves?

above are pics of underside and pipe work into bottom of boiler.

thanks

Isolate the main stopcock, not the boiler (this would only isolate the hot), the stopcock will do both. No hot water loss anyway as it’s a combi boiler.

Nice use of pushfit connectors right near the boiler

The boiler is a storage combi. Tank might empty when stopcock is turned off... Try it.

If you're worried about losing hot water (which is a bit tight really) then turn cold feed off and use whatever hot water comes out for washing up or something, then do the work you propose.
