Is this quote fair?
4 bedroom house, removal of a very old standard boiler system for a new combi boiler

Baxi platinum 40kw (10 year warranty)
Removal of existing system
Alterations to suit new combi system
Removal of old cisterns and cylinders from site
Installation of magnaclean system filter
Hive programmable thermostat
System powerhouse with chemicals pack

All in £2800
I'm a complete novice at plumbing and heating so no idea if this is a good price or not...I assume to cost is in the labour..

Any advise would be highly appreciated regards

Any particular reason you are considering a combi? Is the installer leading you that way? There are pros and cons with heat-only boiler, system boiler, and combi. Depending on just what the existing system is, replacing the boiler (and maybe some other bits if on the way out) might be a better option, and almost certainly cheaper.
