Hi, I have a problem with my Ariston EuroCombi boiler.
This morning the central heating was on and the other half managed to get a shower in but when it came to my turn the boiler stopped working.
On the control panel the ignition failure light was on.
So I pressed the button and the pilot light came on.
Then two seconds later the light went out again.
I tried a few more times but the pilot light went on and off again.
I left the boiler switched off for half an hour and tried again.
This time the light stayed on for at least 10 minutes and was still on when I left home.
I have an engineer booked to come out but the earliest he can get here is Wednesday!
Any body have any ideas what the problem could be.
Is it something I can do before the engineer get here.
Just a heads up on the issue would be great.
