Combi Boiler no hot water

My boiler only supplies hot water when the heating is on, the "hot " water is stone cold when the heating is off, the heating to the radiators is fine. I have an Ideal Sprint 80F combination boiler.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The diaphragm has probably gone in the diverter valve.

Thanks for reply, if the diaphragm has gone would the plunger still operate and push the contacts on the micro switches. I ask because this is happening

It may do, but itis probably not moving enough to shut off heating port on div valve, or maybe the system is dirty and some muck is preventing the valve closing.

Pushing the switches should bring on the boiler in the DHW mode.

Try pushing them manually and see if it fires up.

Its very rare to find a faulty switch but it does happen ( as I found a couple of weeks ago ).
