combi boiler over heating

I have a worcester 240 combi boiler, central heating can run all day no problems but when i run a bath after about 10mins the boiler over heats & cuts out

Sounds as if the DHW thermistor may have failed or the gas pressure is set too high ( CORGI ) job.

Or the other common problem s the dhw heat heax blocked.........its a modified part now.
