Hi All

Ok my baxi 105e is on its last legs we have had it 15 years so time for a new one.
I want the new boiler in a different location it will be on a outside wall and all the pipes are also on that wall running under it (Hot+Cold Water , radiator and gas) as its a old kitchen that have been ripped out.

So my questions are :-

1:- Will it be quite a easy instalation as all the pipes are in very easy access
2:- Can the old boiler be left in place and just shut off as its in a built in wardrobe in our bedroom and will be a bugger to get out

Thanks hope you guys can answer my questions

cheers

As long as all the pipes are there, and you route the condensate to a nearby drain or internal outlet, then you should be fine. But you need to make sure all the pipe in the old location are redone so there are no deadlegs, and everything runs straight through.

ah i see so it can be done then ,can the gas supply be a deadleg ?

It applies to water; the gas isn't an issue, and the installer will cap it off.
