Hello everyone,
A few months ago I had a new combi boiler installed to replace the old, traditional boiler. New boiler is Vaillant EcoTEC pro 24. The house is a 3 bed terraced with 1 bathroom and 7 radiators.
The hot water works fine and comes on quickly, but the radiators take ages to heat up.
After 15 mins of turning the heating on the radiators are still cold and barely starting to warm up.
After 40 mins the temperature is 42 degrees (the radiators are warm, but not hot). The temperature after an hour shows as 56 degrees and it’s only after 1.5 hours that the radiators are finally hot and the temperature on the boiler goes up to 71-73 degrees.
Is this normal??
I bled all the radiators and they all eventually get very hot but in my previous flat it only took 10 -15 mins for my old combi boiler to heat 5 radiators.
