Hi does anyone know if its possible to replace a timer on my boiler for any digital kind or does it have to be compatible? I have a Valiant Turbomax running off of an old "dial-type" timer which I would like to replace with a digital one.

Sorry I meant to say I already have a mechanical timer connected to the boiler but want to replace this with a digital one. I'm just not sure if everything is compatible or only certain brands can work with Valiant boilers.
