Hi guys ... what i have is an L.P.G operated woscester bosch combi boiler 30kw condensing unit of aprox 3 years old .... this time of year with the centeral heating turned up we can go through a 47kg bottle in 4 days and at almost £60 a go its not cheap ..... so i have bought myself an external multi fuel boiler which is 16kw that is going to live in the garage ... my questions are 1/ can i cut the feed return pipes from the combi put quater turn V/Vs on to isolate the combi while running the mulltifuel 2/ will i need a heat sink rad befor the V/V/s so the boiler can loose any excess heat through 3/ if non of this can be done what are my options for a dual fuel supply ps i also have a 400ltr buffer tank and a laddomat to aid control of the solid fuel boiler .... regards Colin
