Combi CH on/off

Its a Vaillant Turbo Max Vuw and I have a Honeywell T3R wireless thermostat.

Can the boiler CH be left in the on position with the Honeywell used to switch on/off the CH as required?

I only use Manual CH on the Honeywell.
