I am considering changing from Economy 7 to gas CH. However my shower requires 1.5 bar. Would a combi condensing boiler supply that? Secondly, how far away from the outside can it be placed and still able to vent the exhaust?

Its the mains water pressure which provides the pressure for the shower. Most need a maximum of 1.0 Bar. It can be measured but that must be done dynamically.
Boiler maximum flue lengths vary according to make and model but most will do 5m and some about 10m but that sometimes needs a larger size flue.
