combi not giving staeady temperature

I got a new combi boiler a few months ago and the hot water never seems to come out at a steady temperature. Even filling a basin for washing up can be a pain as its hot for 3 minutes then drops to luke warm, then cold, then back to luke warm then hot... etc.. i don't know what could be the cause of this or how to solve it?
