Combi problem

Hi, I've just put a new expansion vessel on a combi and now the heating and hot water arn't working. The boiler runs when I run the hot tap but water remains cold.

The water upto the CH pump is red hot and is hot below pump but doesn't get much further along pipes. Strange thing is that CH worked when I turned boiler on earlier, I turned it onto timed and at 5pm nothing works! The pump isn't spinning but this wouldn't affect the hot water from the tap would it?

Have you repressurised the system?

Yes, must be pump then because I've had front off and it definetly isn't spinning- do they have a fuse in them?

was it (the pump) working before you changed the expansion vessel?

yes, id say so- all rads were heating up.
