I'm sick and tired of spending around £150 getting more bits changed on combis when they fail.

anyone have reliability preferences or recommendations.

Vokeras seem to need fixing at least once a year [£1-200] a time.....

Sorry, just seen previous posts.

Sounds like the Vokera linea is better than their old ones or the Worcester.

any statistics like "Which" around, the more the more accurate.

Recently heard of BG 5* or was it 3* cover - costing £288 a year!

Vokera is hard to beat. But when ANY boiler breaks down not ALL engineers can fix them. Which Vokera is causing you grief?

I work on Vokeras often. In my book they are put together better than most and parts are very reasonable.

Perhaps you should get your boiler replaced and when that breaks down I wont say 'I told you so'

Whats your location?

It's about, well actually, it was put in in 1986 and I think is called a Turbo R, so I suppose I should'nt grumble....
Hot water supply is not too good, never was but I suppose they've got better.

thanks for the input and welcome more comments.

Proven design carried forward with the Flowmatic. Fan can be troublesome to remove.

If you are having to constantly spend money on this boiler, it is because your engineer may not be familiar with this boiler. An overhaul on this boiler will be money in the bank as it rarely fails despite working on installation that are dirty.

Flow rate on a new boiler will still be the same at 9.5 l per minute for 80,000 btus which the Turbo is.
