Comparing lights

I've looked at Fireguard Low Energy CFL Downlights

One looks like a twisted flourecent tube element and the other I cant make out but has been recommended by some people on here. Has anyone experience of both of these? Which is more like natural light?

The Fireguard lamp quotes a colour temperature of 3000K. That's midway between standard filament and halogen and it's very yellow compared to daylight which is around 6000K. As far as I can see, the other one doesn't come with a lamp so you'll have to see what you can get that will fit. Fluorescents can be made in a wide range of colours - including UV!
