For the past few days I get the Compatibility Assistant opens with a message about a program that may not have installed correctly.
I selected 'it did install correctly' & I have tried 'reinstall using correct settings'.
I have no idea what the program is, as it hasn't installed I cant view it.
Where can I find it to see what it is or remove it.

I have goooogle & tried a lot of helps on the MS support.

My pc is working ok, I just want to remove this error message.
I do not particularly want to do a restore as I have just spent many hours doing all the Dell updates etc.

Tried restore to before the problem. No joy still get the error

Have you got up to date AntiVirus and Spyware checker?
Sounds suspicious if you can't find what it is and it may be something trying to install itself but failing (perhaps) because of the account restrictions.
