I have
1) Worcester 30CDi system boiler
2) Honeywell Smartfit S-plan controller
Are the two compatible?
The boiler has a connection (jumper) between LiveSupply and LiveReturn at present (ie, no controller fitted). This jumper is to be replaced by the controller.
The Honeywell controller has 240v outputs for boiler and pump.
Since the pump is integral to the boiler system, persumably I can just ignore the Smartfit pump output and connect the Live Boiler output of the honeywell to the LiveReturn input of the boiler.
Can anyone give me a reason why this isn't a good idea?
btw- I have already discounted the use of the optional diverter valve for the boiler for a number of other reasons. Hence Bosch's own controllers can't be used.
many thanks in advance.
