Hi, can anyone help?

The previous owner of my house has painted over two glass panels in the hallway. I could always smash the glass out and replace it but it may be easier [and cheaper] to clean it off. I've tried scraping it with no joy and nor does Nitromors work. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Well I'd avoid trying to burn it off  When you say glass panels, smooth or patterned?

Patterned, Eddie. And of course the uneven surface doesn't help when I try to scrape. Any ideas?

Chemical strip, if it doesn't work out quick and easy, a hammer. Oh, tip, smear some golden syrup on some newspaper, stick to the glass, then a sharpish tap with a lump hammer, saves on picking glass up from everywhere.

Might get in trouble with my daughter if I nick her syrup!

Which chemical strip do you recommend?

you say Nitrmors paint stripper didn't work? Is it emulsion or something?
