Hello

I have a north facing wall and am wondering if I could smarten it by adding composite cladding to the exterior. While I am at it though it occured to me that maybe I could get a builder to put some insulating material in between? Is this advisable and are there any pitfalls? I have had a couple of convo’s with people who say they are builders , but am not totally confident as both had differing ideas.
Thankyou

What is the existing wall makeup? Is the cavity fully insulated already? If not then any new insulation added to the outside of wall will be ineffective.

Hi, no its a 1947 no cavity wall (prob why its freezing) I think they did a double brick in those days judging by the width of the door frames.
Thanks
