Composite decking.

Then they either need different decking or to accept the interminable maintenance.

It's ironic that a mid-light grey seems to be a popular colour for composite decking...

Hi I'm looking to put some composite decking down and was wondering if any installers on here can recommmed any do/donts on what type/brand to use.
The decking will be going down on a timber frame (pic attached)

I’ve used Brite Decking on my own project, and it’s been a great choice. It installs easily on a timber frame, and the co-extruded surface provides excellent durability, resisting fading, warping, and mold. A key do is to ensure proper spacing for ventilation, especially with a timber frame, to prevent moisture buildup. Also, use hidden fasteners for a clean finish. A don’t would be skipping the manufacturer’s guidelines on joist spacing—Brite has clear recommendations to ensure long-term performance.

You can check out some maintenance tips here: Decking Maintenance Guide. Highly recommend it if you're after a low-maintenance, long-lasting deck!
