Composite Door Hinge

Hi All,

Looking for some help.

I am trying to adjust the compression on my front door.

I have this hinge.

I can not get the hex screw to turn at all on the hinge. Does anyone have any experience with this type of hinge. I think I need to pop the hex screw up befre turning but can't see how to.
