Has anyone ever seen this latch fitted to this type of door?

Looking for recommendations on how to release. Door jammed.

Show us the key. It will probably identify the maker. It looks like you have a lever lock.

Does the door have multipoint locking?

There are numerous brands of lever sashlock but the only lever multipoint I know is the ERA Vectis. Spares and replacements are available. If broken, it needs a proper locksmith, not a person who just knows how to defeat Eurocylinders which are easy. Eurocylinders can be snapped, drilled, bumped or corkscrewed. Lever locks can't

Please describe what you do, and what is jammed. Have you got a spare key? Can it be unlocked from outside?

Did anything happen before that?

Looks like a Vectis door lock to me , if so can be converted using a new gearbox to a standard eurobarrel lock,
Can't say I've ever come across a jammed one do can't help with that

Opinions differ, but I consider a Eurocylinder to be inferior to a 5-lever.

Give it a good spray with brake cleaner or wd 40, they can get grubbed up with the leavers sticking. |You will have to replace the lock but their again you wouldn't want a faulty one left in situ.

Work the key back and forth
