Hey All,

After 9 years of installation our concealed toilet cistern decided to continually run water down the pan. I removed the cover and reset the drop down plunger but everything looked a bit limescaled and gunged up. Any recommendations of what is best to clean it up with? I sprayed a load of viakal down there but wondered if there was something more effective and wont damage the plastics in the cistern.

thanks

Kilrock (easier to get) or Ataka. Both OK to use with plastics.

EDIT: LOTS of ventilation with either

Pour a bottle of Viakal (500ml) in the cistern and leave it over night. It should clean it up nicely.

Thanks, will give the viakal ago and if that doesnt shift it , i`ll try the kilrock.
