Hi,
I've just had a new toilet fitted and the vertical through-the-floor soil pipe sticks out of the back of the pedestal like a sore thumb, the old toilet sat on top of the pipe and was hidden. The soil pipe is tight up against a joist so there is no scope for re-positioning. How can I a) box in the soil-pipe close to the toilet only - someone said use a boiler pipe case and b) bridge the 3 cm gap between the cistern and the wall?
