Hi all, so a couple a weeks ago I had a limestone patio installed and a few days ago I notice one of the slabs now has a hairline crack running through half of it. And today I noticed a few slabs make a hollow noise when you step on them. Not sure if theres any movement on them when this happens, maybe a little, hard to tell. Surely this isn't normal? Not 100% sure on how he installed them, I saw like an orangey brown gravel layer, then on top of that he layed some dark grey stuff.. followed by the pavers, them a brush in grout.

Any opinions would be great! Thanks

lift that slab to see what is underneath, if I was a betting man I would put money on it being 5 dabs that are not fully strong and have left hollow patches that mean the slabs are not fully supported and hence easier to break.
Lift the slab and it will look one the ones my cowboy left me to fix, look at your other thread for what not to do when laying slabs.
