Concrete cill width in comparison to uPVC door.

I've got a french door due to get installed, but due to a mix up, I now have a uPVC door at 1590mm width and a concrete cill at 1500mm. The way the opening is cut, it's looking like the door is going to overhang the cill by about 1cm at one side, and 8cm at the other. My question is, should the cill run the entire length of the door?

Structural I'd be less bothered about, because the side fixings and cantilever on the base would support the flying section but if one side of a step stuck out 3 inches more than another it'll always look wrong. Can you add a cill onto the door? Put plant pots in front of the corners etc..?
