I'm having part of my garden paved, which will involve the removal of an existing concrete slab patio, and a Marley-type concrete garage.
Intuitively it seems daft to pay for the old concrete to be taken away by skip or grab lorry and then to buy hardcore for the new patio base.
What are the economics of hiring a crusher instead? Does it make financial sense?
