Hi There
I'm hoping to get carpet fitted in 3 rooms of my 1960's bungalow. It has concrete floors throughout. There is probably a small amount of moisture coming up through the floors. A damp contractor took readings suggesting a small level of damp. The advice was that this was not that bad and could be managed through 'breathable floor coverings', combined with adequate heating and ventilation.
We are set on carpets. Could anyone recommend a combination of underlay and carpet that would allow the floors to breathe a little?
