Concrete floor issue

I’ve recently had a garage built and I am finding that patches of the concrete floor have an almost gritty/gravelly finish on the surface, even when I sweep it. I’m worried if I don’t seal it in some way then it would eventually wear in these parts and cause dips etc.

What would be the best way to seal these areas, or indeed the whole floor?

A concrete sealer or floor paint of some kind?

Concrete floor paint. Not cheap & solvent rich (mmmm), roll it on then chuck the roller
