Hope someone can point me in the right direction:
I'm preparing a floor prior to laying solid boards on a mainly marley tiled concrete floor, previous Q and A have confirmed I'm OK to just fill the 6" untiled gap between the tiles and the edges of the patio doorway. However now I've lifted the carpet and taken off the existing gripper rods I've found some damaged concrete at the edges, only about 30mm or so but a fair amount is cracked and lose.
Should I dig out all the loose cracked stuff and prime and fill with something like Stopgap 400?
If I do dig out the broken stuff some of the holes will be about 20-30mm thick, is this too deep for Stopgap 400?
Alternatively dig out the worst parts only and skim using the Stopgap?
Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance.
