Hello
I've got a roof valley which isn't leaded or similar - just concrete tiles that make up the valley trough with a cement fillet providing the joint with the roof tiles (these are a concrete Marley type).
Over time this cement fillet has perished in places and I've raked out & repointed; can anyone please tell me whether, to seal it, I could successfully paint over this now with a liquid (damp proof) membrane type of bitumen based emulsion? I was planning to water down the first coat then use the neat product to finish.
Many thanks for any guidance
