Depends what method you use, two or three different products can be used, are you casting it using a mould or casting it in situ.
Wetcast method would be best, but by the time you have bought everything or hired equipment, likely to be cheaper to buy from a manufactory or stockist.
Wetcast mix
2x10mm gravel
1x fines/sands
1x cement (will give it plenty strength)
pigments/dyes for colour
water content will depend on how dry your aggregates are, but a nice sloppy mix.
If cast in a mould will need vibration, to remove air and add density.
A plasticizer and a compacting agent will help too.
This mix can be varied with the addition of limestone (3mm to dust), reducing fines and sands. Also the using of different types of aggregates can add more character and colour to the piece.
