We've had no hot water for 3 days however the cold water and central heating is working fine, so I am assuming there is a frozen pipe somewhere?
I have also just discovered that the condensate pipe coming from the boiler (Worcester 24i HE) is leaking. The pipe goes from the boiler through the external wall and drains outside but it is leaking inside from a join in the pipe close to the boiler itself. The condensate pipe has frozen a couple of times outside recently (knocking out the heating) but I just defrosted it using a hairdryer and the boiler re-started no bother. Why is the pipe leaking and is what can I do about it? And I take it I just have to wait for the thaw to get the hot water back?
Thanks for any advice!
