Hi all and thankyou for advice in advance.
I have removed some internal walls so I am overboarding and will skim. The bungalow is suffering with condensation in the loft space. I will put roof tile vents in at the ridge and soffet vents in when I renew but my question is... Is it worth putting vapour barrier between existing ceiling and new board to reduce moisture from kitchen.

You should be controlling moisture in kitchen with extractor.
I turn ours on even when washing up with window trickle vents open. Also leave bathroom extractor on for 20min stints and dry off tiles after shower.
Stops the moisture being dumped on windows.
Lots of insulation in loft over ceilings and don't miss the narrow edges behind joists.

You could use foil backed board in kitchen?

Also old bungalow watch out for naff timbers. I've needed to prop up and brace a few.
Cross straps (timber across) also helps
