Hello...
I am looking for a solution to a specific condensation and wardrobe issue. I am planning to fit a 2500mm a free-standing wardrobe against two outside walls that are known to suffer from condensation (that I typically control with a dehumidifier). The wardrobe would only be able to sit around 20-25mm from the wall (space restrictions) which would almost certainly cause condensation (and mould) to build up behind the wardrobe. My thought was to apply a sheet of foil-backed insulation board (e.g. Celotex) direct between the wardrobe and wall leaving no gap. Does anybody have any constructive ideas on this plan of attack?
