about this time of year we start to get a lot of condensation on some but not all of the inside of our upstairs windows, I am in the process of fitting an extractor fan which should help , but some while ago I was advised that the windows may have been fitted incorrectly (they're quite old) either too far in or out ,to be honest I can't remember So this morning I chiseled some of the plaster away ,to find that the inside edge of the window is level with the outside edge of the inner brick course .So the window is in effect bridging the wall cavity. Is this normal ?
