So I need to run a new water main 300m from the road to the house.

I may in the future look to get planning on a new build up the same lane and as it’s a fairly big job to trench 300 metres I’m thinking of future proofing the job and running it inside a 100mm pipe.

That way I can add another 32mm main if I need to or elec/gas without having to redig.

On the face of it mixing a water supply and elec in the same pipe seems silly but can it be done?

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Dunno but the trench is the hard thing?
It may be easier to just have a slightly bigger trench and two conduits?

When ducted, services need to be in their own colour coded ducts.

See your local utility supplier for details of the underground requirements for each service.
