Coneecting cable to security light

I want to instal a new security light to an existing cable can you tell me please which connection points the Red & Black cable wires should be connected to on the security light ?. It has 4 connection points Neutral (blue) Earth (green/yellow) Live (Brown) and an L1 connection point.

Red = Live = Brown
Black = Neutral = Blue
bare cable = earth = Green/Yellow

The L1 connection is generally a swithed connection for the sensor to activate the light, and if your security light has a built in sensor it should already be connected there. If it doesnt have a sensor, and the cable you are connecting to is from a switch then connect the red to the L1 and the light should work from the switch.
PS ensure the cable is not live before trying anything, turn off the electric completely if you are unsure
