Hello,
Just bought whirlpool electric oven, model AKP 206/01/IX.
Having removed from packaging, now realise that it does not come with cable for connection (though it does make recommendation on type of cable to use - H05 RR-F 3 x 1.5mm).
There is a standard 3-pin plug socket with switch behind the cooker that the old cooker was plugged into with a 13amp plug.
Can I just buy the recommended cable, attach to cooker, wire a 13amp fuse plug on the other end, and plug into the existing socket, or is this dangerous?!
would it be better to replace the existing plug socket with something else? if so what?
Any advice much appreciated...
