Hi,

We're moving the kitchen in our house and converting the bathroom to a shower room. The toilet has been moved and the soil pipe now runs near horizontal (1 in 40 fall as per previous advice) for 1.5m before dropping vertically to the original cast iron sewer pipe.

Can the waste from the kitchen (sink, washing machine & dishwasher) be connecetd to the horizontal(ish) part of the soil pipe (using a saddle boss) or does it have to go on the vertical part of the pipe.

Also I believe that the connection must be min 450 mm above the bend (sewer connection) at the bottom of the soil pipe is there a min / max distance from the toilet connection.

Thanks
