Connection of Eurosmart Grohe Basin Tap

If you have isolators on the pipework then these adaptors will take you from the isolator onto the flexible connectors supplied with the tap.

If there are no isolators then now would be a good time to fit them

:(That's her job!

Thanks for the reply there!

I have the adapters as you posted in your first link however the old 15mm tails connected straight on to an Elbow as below

So makes installing these a bit harder?

How are you connecting the flexi tap tails to those elbows ? The flexi has a 3/8 bsp female end ,according to the link you posted , but those elbows have 1/2 inch bsp threads ,male ,if the olive and nut are not used ??if you use the tap tail adaptors ,the 15 mm end will go into the elbow with olive and nut ??

Those elbows may not be the exact same apologies.

Below is a picture of the setup, the 15mm tail is still connected and in background you see the smaller Grohe tail

Ah ,the old flexi has 1/2 inch bsp thread ,and screw direct to the elbow. What you can do is fit the tap tail adjusters
That are 3/8 inch to your new flexis ,the shaft of the tap tail adjusters is 15 mm, and that goes into the elbow ,with a 15 mm olive and compression nut. Basically the same as the supply pipe which is going into the other end of the elbow. If you don't have two olives and two nuts ,just buy another 15 mm compression elbow and use the ones that come with it.

Ok so i just tried and maybe im being stupid but when i push the tap tail adjuster in to the elbow is just falls/slides out as there is nothing holding it in, even when trying to use the 15mm compression nut and olive?

I'm using a 15mm x 3/8 " bsp adaptor

When you tighten the nut up with a spanner ,the olive is COMPRESSED and grips . you also should hold the elbow fitting with a second spanner ,or a pair of grips, whilst tightening up.
