Consertary Roof replacement

Hi I have a UPVC framed conservatory with a wooden lean to roof with Poly carb sheets. I want to place a "Edwardian Style roof or a Gable styled roof on the same frames, My concern is will the existing frames take the weight and can I get a roof to fit straight on top of the frames ?

Can you tell us the dimensions, and what material you intend to lay on this roof structure?

Hi dimensions are 3.7M wide and 3.5M long. I would like to put a aluminum based Edwardian roof on it.
